Snowbright Studio Launches Free Educator Program
Snowbright Studio is excited to announce the launch of the new Snowbright Educator Program. Verified K12 teachers and librarians will now be able to gain free year-round digital access to Snowbright’s online platform, Cozy Library, where they will find all of Snowbright’s RPGs, including Teatime Adventures, ink, and a prerelease version of the Time Tails RPG, alongside cozy videos, activities, game DLC, and other content for Snowbright’s award-winning cozy games and fiction magazine, Cozy Companion. In August, educators and other Cozy Library subscribers will also gain access to a prerelease version of Snowbright’s upcoming fourth tabletop RPG, Mercurio.
Snowbright CEO and former education policy expert, Grace Collins, had this to say: “We have seen our fans use Teatime Adventures to teach their children conflict resolution strategies. We have seen children’s hospitals use ink to help children cope with difficult medical prognoses. And we are seeing teachers using Time Tails to explore historical periods and understand the founding principles behind democracy. We believe that our games can be equally at home on a game room table with adults as they can be in the classroom. We also understand the financial limitations that many teachers and librarians face right now, and we hope that this new program allows more people to visit and engage with the worlds that we are creating.”
Over the remainder of 2024, Snowbright will begin publishing new lesson plans and educator supports to facilitate the use of Snowbright games in schools and libraries. These supports include lessons aligned to the Next Generations Science Standards (NGSS), the CASEL Social and Emotional Learning framework (CASEL SEL), the National Standards for Civics and Government, and College Board AP-aligned Computer Science content.
