Policy Research Fellow (Student)

Snowbright Studio is seeking a student for a short-term Policy Research Fellow position to assist in work related to a government policy and procurement project related to improving student wellness. This is a project-based remote role that will receive a paid stipend. This role would work directly with Snowbright’s CEO.

Scope of Role
This is a short-term, project-based remote role focused on supporting members of the team in a government procurement project. Candidates can expect to spend their time reviewing documents, thinking strategically, researching government programs, and writing memos.

Essential Qualifications

  • Current status as an undergraduate student or high-performing 11th/12th grade high school student

  • High attention to detail

  • Exemplary research and writing skills

  • An interest in federal government processes and procedures

  • Ability to efficiently read and summarize complex documents

Responsibilities
This role may see you working on some of the following tasks in a given day:

  • Reading through a government solicitation and summarizing key details

  • Reviewing high level strategic documents and marking potential alignments

  • Drafting position memos on strategic implementations of programs designed to affect public policy

Compensation

  • The anticipated stipend for this position is $120 per week for up to 8 weeks
