Producer (TTRPGs)
Snowbright Studio is seeking a Producer to manage the creation of Cozy Companion magazine and other TTRPG products. This is a remote position that reports to Snowbright’s CEO. This role is intended to be hired as a 20+ hour per week part-time role with the option to increase to full-time status (40 hours per week).

Scope of Role
This role will manage the creation of new issues of Snowbright’s award-winning cozy games and fiction magazine, Cozy Companion, and other TTRPG products. Please be aware that Snowbright has a firm policy against the use of generative AI for creative processes. Do not apply to this role if you are unable to perform this job without the use of ChatGPT and similar tools.
Essential Qualifications
Prior experience publishing TTRPG books or similar products
Project management experience and the ability to meet deadlines
Past experience hiring and managing contractors (both writers and artists)
A passion for Snowbright’s catalog of games and tabletop RPGs in general
High attention to detail with a love for print media product design
Kindness, empathy, and a desire to make the world a better place through play and games
A desire to collaborate with a primarily LGBTQ+, disability-friendly, and neurodiverse team
United States citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
A background in writing, art, and/or editing
Familiarity with best practices in accessibility for publications
Excited to push boundaries in the TTRPG field
Experience working tabletop conventions (PAX, Gen Con, Origins, etc.)
Ability to manage project budgets and finances
Prior experience at a TTRPG studio
Willingness to hear extensive details about your coworkers’ pets
Responsibilities
This role is laser focused on producing new TTRPG and magazine content at Snowbright, taking each book from concept to completion. During a week, you might find yourself doing the following tasks:
Outlining a new issue, starting with a theme and planning out feature sections (20%)
Scouting new artists and writers (15%)
Providing feedback on incoming art and writing (45%)
Contributing content to the issue (20%)
Compensation
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $22 - $32 per hour
If moved to a full-time role, the anticipated salary band for this role is $45,000 - $65,000
