What is Cozy Library?
In February 2024, Snowbright launched a new version of the Cozy Companion subscription service which now includes access to Cozy Library, a new home for cozy digital content. Cozy Library provides access to Snowbright videos and digital downloads with content added on a weekly basis. Over the next year, Cozy Library content will include Actual Play episodes, recipe videos, crafting videos, game music, and more as well as PDF versions of each Cozy Companion and rotating DLC for Snowbright RPGs. The cost of a Cozy Companion + Cozy Library subscription is slightly increased compared to Cozy Companion subscriptions purchased before February 2024. All subscriptions purchased after February 2024 will include access to Cozy Library.
Will this impact my current Cozy Companion subscription?
No. If your Cozy Companion subscription started pre-February 2024, then nothing will change. You will continue to receive your copy of Cozy Companion every other month and will be able to continually renew at your current price without access to Cozy Library. You will continue to receive your digital copy of each volume through DriveThruRPG like always.
What if I want to get access to Cozy Library?
Due to technical restrictions on our platform, the Cozy Library platform is not backwards compatible with Cozy Companion subscriptions that were started prior to February (legacy subscriptions). Unfortunately, there is no easy way on our end to migrate subscribers over.
To ease the transition for legacy subscribers who would like to upgrade to the new Cozy Companion + Cozy Library subscription, Snowbright is offering to provide a store credit for use on the Snowbright website if you decide to subscribe to a new Cozy Companion + Cozy Library plan.
How do I claim the upgrade store credit?
Subscribe to any subscription option on the Cozy Companion page and then fill out the form here. We will send you a SnowbrightStudio.com discount code that you can use for any future purchases made on the SnowbrightStudio.com website. The value of the discount code will match the difference between your legacy subscription and the new subscription that you have signed up for, up to the amount paid for your new subscription.
Example: Dorran the Hoptop has four months left on his legacy print subscription which originally cost him $90. He signs up for a new annual plan for $110 and fills out the form on this page. He receives an email with a discount code for $35 to be used on future purchases. This amount represents the 4 months remaining on his legacy subscription. Had he selected the bimonthly plan instead of the annual plan, he would have received a $12 credit instead.
What if I want to keep my legacy subscription and skip Cozy Library?
Then there’s no need to do anything. We will continue to honor legacy subscriptions in the same way that we always have!
Can I let my current legacy subscription expire and then pick a new Cozy Library subscription when it’s time to renew?
Yes. If you want to switch over the next time that your subscription is up for renewal, simply let your current subscription lapse and then sign up as a new subscriber instead.
